Update 15.5.
Dear Mr. Schoeck,
we were delighted to receive your letter to the editor. Thank you. Unfortunately, the site has not been sufficient to the large number of letters to also take into account only superficially.
Well I'm very excited to see what times are available with a variety of letters to print it tomorrow ... namely, so far there was no one in the newspaper.
---
In the news Nuremberg on Saturday, a short, neutral article on the success of the petition. Apart from a blind item of an editor several weeks ago I wrote in my newspaper otherwise not received any reports on the Internet Lock. Today
were found then two bottomless letters in the newspaper. One can only assume that the vote deliberately misinterpreted figures of the Family Ministry and a lock actually help someone. But the other one makes the same sweeping blow against everything that has to do with modern media, accused " killer games" to be intended to kill training and ends in a babble about the bad Television program. That such a letter will be published at all is horrible.
So here is my, hopefully better, letter to the problems of Internet blocking at last to bear in this newspaper:
It shocked me that will be published in the NN two letters from obviously uninformed readers, but the position against the planned Internet-lock remains undefended. In particular, Mr lights seems to prohibit all "the loving trend in the CSU, but even he has no expertise (there is exactly one computer game that the Army has been commissioned and is not particularly brutal, realistic or innovative) still thinks about that made. A computer game can be described as a weapon bankruptcy of the ignorance of the medium computer.
But more importantly, that child pornography has no place, it is agreed, without exception, all the critics of the locks. However, there has long been legal means to this site for all to take from the Internet and to delay not only viewing a half a minute - for so long it takes to round out its PC to the proposed barriers, what we are not even technology savvy needs.
That so no child is helped is obvious. Why the operator of these pages that are hosted mainly in western countries with a functioning law enforcement do not follow be, I can not understand completely.
The solution of the problem were that simple: remove all child-porn websites and arrested the operator. Then no one would have to be afraid before, not so unrealistic censorship. Already, Lobby representatives call for blocking foreign betting sites or computer game sites, there is the step to-government nature will not be far off.
And the abused children would actually helped if our Government can not campaign with her sorrow, but would punish the perpetrators.
