When downloading some content from the library of the first German long tendon introduced himself to me the question whether disclosure was permitted. By the appropriate program directors, I got quick reply: Dear Mr.
Schöck,
thank you for your e-mail and your interest in the First German Television.
are general, all our shipments copyright protected. The ARD is a consortium of public broadcasters of the Federal Republic of Germany. ARD to include nine regional radio stations. Their joint program is the first German television channel. All articles and broadcasts of the first produced by the national broadcasters. Therefore, the country's broadcasters the rights to the respective programs.
All are in radio and television broadcast is protected by copyright. Each recording of a radio and television broadcast on tape, video tape or DVD is a reproduction, which usually requires the consent of the author. An exception is the use for strictly private purposes. For (§ 53 paragraph 1 Copyright Act) allowed radio and television broadcasts are recorded and played back.
So it is only allowed to lend you your own copy to friends, of course, without demanding money. In "private" means only a legal use in the family and friends. Any other use requires a permit from the author. You may say for example your own copy will not reproduce and do not perform in public.
We hope to have you with this information on.
Sincerely
Unfortunately, this statement is quite clear - Although that's a good thing, but the content is regrettable. Thus, it is not possible to citizens to get legally-funded content to the public.Julia Janner
my view there is definitely a need for improvement here, and howl when the private channels and would be "bankruptcy" scream. As whether it would make the majority of viewers to watch the charges and instead of [any afternoon show low levels] programs from the library. Since it is only us left our opinions known to do. So write letters, talk to friends and family about it and use the powerful media libraries.
Happy you!
PS: In the comments to my little how-to someone has recommended a program to download content from different libraries . I have not tested it yourself, it would, however, no one denied. Have fun and thanks for the tip.
