At the Telemedia Act on compatibility checks to the Internet age. On Netzpolitik.org there was this one call as a user in the various places of public broadcasters to report to lobby for longer accessibility, free licenses and the elimination of the transmission cover.
I have done with this mail to all relevant bodies, for public law produced content should remain public - even after more than seven days!
Each of interest that for example the issues of the day even after a couple of years are still available should participate. Please note that the deadline for ARD job ends on Wednesday! ZDF has a few weeks longer an open mailbox.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
as contributors and users of the public media offer them I would describe my idea of a meaningful future of public service media in Germany and would be happy if this would find under the current three-step test into account.
- much longer availability of the content, so you can see, even after several weeks publicly funded content on the Internet. The best for ever!
- Free licenses and formats so that everyone can see and use the content - even more so to culturally valuable works by creating remixes.
- Send reference is no longer relevant in the Internet age. All material should be available be not only what has been given in the traditional media a slot. Created information and cultural heritage must be accessible to the citizens!
- Appealing presentation of content, preferably with subtitles for the hearing impaired and contextual information (tags, production and the release date, names of the performers / speakers, etc.).
Thank you very much, that they also respond to user requests. has
